This hotel has 218 guestrooms decorated with Japanese furnishings and artworks. Rooms overlook the hotel's interior courtyard or the surrounding streets. Western-style beds have dark wood headboards. The carpeting is printed with a traditional tatami-mat pattern. Some rooms have separate tubs and showers—all have extra-deep Japanese soaking tubs. In place of Western-style blackout drapes, the windows are covered by hand-painted shoji panels and sliding rice-paper screens.
